Sell your second hand equestrian gear simply

January 29, 2018

Equestrians often collect a vast array of items during their time as a horse owner, and until recently there has been a limit to the online marketplace offerings that provide a safe and secure way of parting with horsey gear. However, a brand new website has just launched to provide a solution… is the brainchild of passionate Leeds based horse owner, Kat Pritchett. When Kat purchased her first horse Paddy four years ago, she hunted high and low for a ‘one-stop-shop’ to purchase and sell various second hand equestrian items, and became frustrated with the lack of options available.

After many hours of research and development, Kat has now set up to provide a platform where customers can buy and sell second hand items in their local area, without the hassle of post office queues and delivery delays. Customers looking to purchase items can search for specific categories in their local area and simply collect items efficiently. Sellers can advertise their items hassle-free knowing they don’t have to worry about postage and packaging. has been designed to remove the need for mind numbing scrolling through auction sites and social media pages, and provides a comprehensive selling site for all equestrian gear. The membership based platform offers two options – a free basic sign up which provides members with up to 3 listings in a 12 month period, with sellers adverts being contactable after five days, and the ability to search for items online. There is also a premium option, for £5 a year, which gives unlimited listings and the chance to be first in line to receive notifications when the exact item you are looking for comes up in your area. Wanted emails are available to all users – you don’t even need to me a member to sign up for these.

Kat is passionate about creating a safe online hub for other horse owners to help revive the secondhand marketplace. “My aim for the site is to create an online community for locals to buy and sell used and unwanted equine items easily and for a good price. I have a lot of growth plans for, and am excited about evolving the business to support local businesses as well as individual owners.”

For every paying premium membership sign up on, Kat will make a donation to her chosen equine rescue charity on The Wirral.
